Retro Gaming#
Play classic retro games right in your browser using EmulatorJS. No downloads or installs needed.
Open the app: gaming.tyhurstfarmhouse.com
How to play#
- Go to gaming.tyhurstfarmhouse.com.
- You’ll see a tile for each console (NES, SNES, Game Boy, Sega Genesis, and more). Click a console to see its games.
- Click a game to start playing.
Everything runs in your browser. A keyboard works for most games, but you can also connect a USB or Bluetooth controller for the full experience.
Controller support#
Most modern controllers work when plugged in or connected via Bluetooth:
- Xbox controllers
- PlayStation controllers
- Nintendo Switch Pro controllers
- Generic USB gamepads
Your browser should detect the controller automatically. If it doesn’t, try refreshing the page after connecting.
Saving your progress#
Most games support save states – a snapshot of your exact spot that you save and load from the in-emulator menu. They’re more reliable than a game’s own in-game save.
Save states are stored in your browser. Clearing your browser history or data will erase them.
Good to know#
- Best on a computer. The games work on phones and tablets, but a bigger screen and a controller are much more fun.
- Use Chrome or Edge for the best compatibility.
