Troubleshooting#
Try these steps before reaching out – they fix most issues. Click a problem to see the fix.
The page won’t load
- Check your internet connection. Try loading a regular website like google.com.
- Try a different browser. Chrome and Edge work best.
- Clear your browser cache. This fixes a surprising number of issues.
- Chrome: Settings > Privacy and security > Clear browsing data
- Edge: Settings > Privacy, search, and services > Clear browsing data
- Wait a few minutes and try again. The server may be restarting after an update.
Video is buffering or choppy
- Lower the video quality. In the streaming app, click the gear icon during playback and choose a lower quality setting.
- Try a wired connection instead of Wi-Fi if possible.
- Close other tabs and apps that might be using bandwidth.
- Try a different browser. Chrome generally handles video best.
The app says “unable to connect to server”
This usually means the server is temporarily down for maintenance or updates. Wait 10-15 minutes and try again. If it’s still down after an hour, let Corey know.
Music app won’t connect
- Double-check the server address:
https://music.tyhurstfarmhouse.com - Try logging in through the web player first to confirm your username and password work.
- If an app still won’t connect, add
/restto the end of the server address – some apps need it.
I never received the email code
When an app’s Cloudflare security screen sends you a login code:
- Check your spam or junk folder.
- Make sure the email address is correct – it must be the one linked to your account.
- Wait a minute and request a new code. If it still doesn’t arrive after a few tries, email Corey.
I forgot my password
Ask Corey to reset it for you.
